Summary
KimiTalk is a digital software product. Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. However, if you expressly consent at checkout to immediate supply, acknowledge that you thereby lose your withdrawal right, and we begin supplying the digital content, that withdrawal right is lost under applicable law.
We still review refund requests fairly, especially for technical issues, duplicate purchases, or accidental renewals.
1. Statutory Withdrawal Right
If you are a consumer, you generally may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For contracts for digital content not supplied on a physical medium, this period generally begins on the date the contract is concluded.
2. Immediate Digital Supply
KimiTalk licenses, downloads, and Pro features may be supplied immediately after purchase. If the checkout obtains your express consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgement that you lose your withdrawal right, and we then begin supplying the digital content, there is no statutory withdrawal right for that purchase.
3. Refunds We Usually Grant
- Duplicate purchase: you accidentally bought the same license twice.
- Technical hard block: KimiTalk does not run on your Mac despite supported system requirements, and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time.
- Accidental subscription renewal: you contact us shortly after renewal, have not meaningfully used the new service period, and there are no signs of abuse.
- Mandatory legal cases: applicable consumer or warranty law requires a refund.
4. Refunds We Usually Decline
- You activated the license or used Pro features after consenting to immediate supply and acknowledging the loss of your withdrawal right.
- You request a retroactive refund after extended use or near the end of a paid subscription period.
- The app works, but does not match a personal expectation that was not part of the product description.
- The purchase was processed by a third-party checkout and its binding rules do not allow the requested refund.
5. Cancelling Subscriptions
You may cancel a subscription at any time for the future. Cancellation stops future renewals; already paid periods are not automatically refunded pro rata unless required by law or unless we confirm a goodwill refund in an individual case.
6. How to Request Help or a Refund
Email support@kimikon.cc and include, where possible, the order number, the email address used for purchase, the license variant purchased, and the reason for your request. If Lemon Squeezy processed the checkout, the refund may technically be processed through Lemon Squeezy.
7. Warranty Rights Remain Unaffected
This policy does not limit mandatory statutory warranty rights. If KimiTalk is defective, the statutory rules apply independently of our voluntary goodwill refund practice.
